First time using Ricks, very happy with the service. I called on a Friday afternoon, needed 4 tires installed and oil change. They fit me in and treated me very fair. From one business owner to another, keep up the great work. Read more

We have eaten at the Quarry for many years, usually for breakfast, but occasionally for lunch and dinner. We used too live a walk's distance away, but even though we've moved from the neighborhood still drop down. It's decent food, good portions and we've always found, good service. We have found that on events such as Mothers or Fathers days there will be lineup, but you generally don't have to wait to long to seated.
My only criticism, is that they could use 1 more serving staff in the morning on these occasions. That being said, meals seem to get to you in not too bad a time. And......they keep that coffee cup filled up.
I'm going to address what I read in the other thread on this place. Like I said, I have been to the Quarry many times and have seen countless children there in my visits . I have 2 children (teenagers now) that we have taken there since they were infants. They, and us, were always made to feel welcome, and valued customers. I don't doubt the women's story, but never have I seen anything like it happen.Read more

The history of At the Edge of the Quarry and how I got started. As a child I was always building things, fixing things, and using tools with my Papa. I have a lot of memories of my family calling me Joe the Workman. I think that's a big part of the reason why, when I found myself in college for computers, I decided that this wasn't what I wanted for my life. I knew I could do more for myself. More of what I am passionate about. The next semester I was registered at Humber College for Landscape Construction. With the knowledge I obtained from school, I found it easy to find work for the landscaping seasons. I worked for a lot of very talented guys who saw my potential and guided me toward having my own successful business. I started out going door to door with my girlfriend, my mom, my brother, anyone that would help me basically, signing people up for lawn aerations. People in my town, Orangeville, started getting to know my face and eventually I began to hand out flyers door to door. In 2009 registered my business name, bought a truck and started on my new adventure. Things took off right away for me because of the contacts obtained through aerations. It's starting out as a great year so far and I can not wait to see what else is in store.
