Situated on 40 secluded acres of the scenic Oak Ridges Moraine (with a 70 km view of Lake Ontario from afar), Chalet Studio gives you the inspiration of nature from every window. Capture your best performance in either of our two studios. Then between takes, go for an invigorating hike on our trails, cool off in the pool, or just relax and recharge in our cozy, on-site accommodations surrounded by fields, forests, and breathtaking views. Fully equipped for rehearsal, the space also supports audio and video recording. The studio uses concepts from the DIY and shared space models to provide a professional work space that is also comfortable and inclusive. Workshops and community partners will provide opportunities to share both knowledge and services. Though our primary focus is in sound production, we appreciate the increasingly integrated nature of media technologies and provide a variety of media platforms to satisfy the demands of all your audio, video, and digital arts projects.
