Blue Water Rest Home was founded in 1965. We are a 65-bed, charitable Long-Term Care Home, operating under the regulations of the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, and we are annually inspected to ensure we meet the province’s high standards for care.

Professional staff deliver high quality care 24 hours every day. Registered Nursing staff are always on duty with experienced, friendly Personal Support Workers.
Food Services serves three delicious meals and three snacks a day, with choices to suit preferences and tastes. We provide dietary counselling for specific needs.
Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Laundry take care of the Residents’ environment and possessions, and help Residents feel secure and comfortable.

My father was a resident at Afton Park for several years. He passed away in June of 2019 at the age of 96. I will forever be grateful to the people at Afton, the administration and the caring staff for the kindness, caring and sensitivity they demonstrated each and every day.

Knollcrest Lodge opened its doors in 1972 and admitted its first Long-Term Care Residents. - Knollcrest has over 200 Volunteers who help to provide governance, committees, fundraising, activities, music, and recreation. - Knollcrest Lodge is also the home of Community Outreach, delivering a wide range of services to those in the area who need some help to remain independent. ...we are a vibrant and caring community.
Vision '74 Inc. is a charitable non-profit organization governed by a voluntary Board of Directors.
Vision Nursing Home is a one hundred and forty six (146) bed long term care home with one hundred and thirty(132) permanent placement beds,one (2) male and one (2) female short stay (respite) bed and ten (10) Convalescent Care beds . The home is centrally located in the city of Sarnia, in Southwestern Ontario at 229 Wellington Street. The Ministry of Health and Long Term Care awarded us with thirty six (36) expansion beds to our home which was completed in April 2013.
Vision Nursing Home is licensed through the Ministry of Health Long Term Care and accredited through the Canadian Council on Health Services Accreditation. The Nursing Home is a member of the Ontario Long Term Care Association. The home has strong community alliances with other care service providers.
Our Rest Home is a member of Ontario Residential Association (ORCA).
