The various program teams endeavour to offer all possible supports to maximize functional ability and enable residents/tenants to self direct and retain a sense of control in their lives.Foundational to all programs offered on site is an emphasis on a social model of service and care and a sense of home . Resident participation in activities related to the functioning of their home and community is be encouraged and welcomed. As well, residents/tenants are be provided with opportunities to participate in social and recreational activities of their choosing. We strive for strong community partnerships. Our vision is one in which the boundaries between home and community are porous, allowing for a free flow back and forth and reducing the loneliness, boredom and isolation that some experience when the external world is no longer readily available to them.
