Second trip here. Excellent both times. Amazing Ackee and salt fish. Delicious fish cakes. Incredible Roti and chicken or shrimp or beef or goat or vegetarian. Kathy takes time to explain dishes for those not familiar. A nice change from same old same old. Caribbean dishes/Barbados/Jamaica and ??. Highly highly recommend this eatery. Treat yourself.

i ALWAYS ORDER FROM JIM'S OF SIMCOE. BUT MY ORDER TONIGHT TOOK 1HR 45MIN. WHEN I ASKED THE DRIVER WHAT TOOK SO LONG HE SAID THE GIRL WHO TAKE'S THE PHONE CALLS FORGOT TO PUT MY ADDRESS DOWN SO IT COULD BE DELIVERED. I STILL HAD TO PAY $40;00 FOR COLD FOOD. THE PERSON WHO TOOK PHONE CALL IS NOT ANY PART OF JIM'S FAMILY. JUST THE PERSON WHO TAKE'S THE PHONE CALLS AND WAITS ON TABLE'S. We stayed at the Comfort Inn in Simcoe last night and this was recommended as the best breakfast in town. It was a good breakfast but didn't live up to that recommendation. Coffee was very good; service was very quick. Very quick but our order was still served good. The waitress was very good about getting it heated up when we explained it was cold. Also delivered extra toast. Toast was very good...made from homemade bread. Peameal was very tasty but cut way too thin.
