I'VE BEEN DEALING WITH CHARLES QUALITY MEATS for about five years now. They're FRESH CUTS and FRIENDLY SERVICE keeps me coming back week after week. In addition to their fresh cuts of beef and pork they have a wide variety of pork sausages and their freshly sliced bacon is to die for. It's one of the only local establishments that also sells fresh cuts of lamb and goat.

We go to the Barley Works on Friday or Saturday nights after nine pm to play trivia. We have samples seveal of their menu offerings and really enjoy the perogies and spinach salad. April is a great bartender and we are never left waiting or wondering if we are being taken care of.
Worth the drive to Waterloo if you like a place to sit and play a bit of interactive trivia. So long as you don't mind that it is mostly a student hangout (and we "old fogies" don't mind at all).

I love the dim sum. The lunch buffet is ok. Haven't been there in a while but they are friendly and they would speak Cantonese to me and ask how my day is going. A nice place for lunch if you want some quiet time during the week!

Real food with Gluten-free options. The atmosphere is nice in that you can dress up or where jeans and there is a pretty outdoor patio. I wouldn't mind a little more variety but always have a good meal and again, can get gluten free. It's nice to have food that is made on site and not something from a chain.
