But my big story is my daughter leaving Barrie w/her 3 children to return to Florida. Her Pathfinder broke down in Innisfil. We towed it back to Dan at Master Mechanic.They could have put in a new Rad & hoses, but thought it could be repaired more simply. We waited less than one hour & paid less than expected.She called from FLa.& said God bless Dan & M. Mechanic!

They are wonderful workers and were very careful with my stuff. they showed up on time and were very friendly with me and my son. they took a few breaks but it makes sense cause the heat is pretty bad and they are carrying heavy loads of boxes all day. they are wonderful to hire.

Why drive all the way to Barrie to a big box store to get you hardwares? I find great service and a fair selection in Alcona. Sometimes I don't find everything I need but I always get greeted by friendly people and very knowledgable about the products. Keep up the great service guys!

Was extremely quick with every response and got me everything I need to avoid ever paying a gym membership again! Our insurance business has been operating since 1921 in Barrie and since 1988 in Toronto. The business has provided coverage from cargo shipments made in the 1920s to the present day needs of all businesses and individuals. The journey began in 1921 when Gordon and Monica Stevenson first opened up their insurance business in downtown Barrie. In 1947, John Stevenson, their son, entered the business. Continuing on the path, the next step happened in 1972 when Garry McCluskey became a partner of the firm.
The family business entered into a third generation with the addition of Gord, Jim, and Anne Stevenson in the 1980s. The emergence of Glenn and Wayne Dusome also occurred at this time. In 1985, there was a change in ownership and in 1989 the firm name was changed to Stevenson-Dusome. In 1990, we opened the life insurance division with the addition of Doug Conway.
