Located in Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia, LaHave River Campground sits on a forested 15-acre property, offering 86 sites for campers. This is made up of 10 unserviced sites, 22 serviced sites, 5 rental cabins, 1 rental trailer, and 48 seasonal spots. We have something for every style of camper!? You'll drive down a 700 foot hill when you arrive, which allows our campers a peaceful escape into nature! Leave the highway behind and take in the sights and sounds of nature. We are proud to be a quaint family campground with a strong sense of community. Guests can partake in activities and events run by our campers and make use of the beautiful grounds. Port George is located just over the North Mountain from Middleton. The village lies right along the coast with easy access to the Bay of Fundy rocky shoreline. The Bay of Fundy tides turns about every 6.5 hours. You can watch the extraordinary sunsets seated on the volcanic rock that makes up the shore. When the tide is out you will want to hunt for treasures washed up on the rocks. Watch for seals sunbathing or playing Peek-a-Boo with you! The provincial park is 800 metres from Rocky Shores & Seals Cottages and is another great place to watch the sunset and tide, or to have a picnic.
