Cheryl King is a consultant based in Alberta, Canada. She has 11 years experience in planning, organizing and delivering Professional Development (PD) to College faculty and staff. She also has 14 years of teaching experience and is an experienced facilitator and workshop leader.Cheryl's interests include reflective teaching, brain research and learning, leadership and organizational development, professional development for educators, workplace wholeness, resume and portfolio development, and creativity for personal growth and self-understanding.Group facilitation is a special interest and strength. Cheryl delights in creating meeting agendas and retreat activities to help groups accomplish their tasks.Cheryl also has written newsletters, organized conferences, delivered keynote speeches, visited classrooms and coached instructors, planned and facilitated community research involving large public forums, written journal articles and research reports, worked on curriculum and assessment committees, delivered workshops and conference presentations on a wide variety of topics, chaired regional PD committees, and created PD programming that delivered 70+ different topics and sessions annually to college faculty and staff.Cheryl has extensive experience facilitating Instructional Skills Workshop, and training others to facilitate ISWs.
