Prairie Spirit School Division is a rural school division located in south central Manitoba. The large geographical area includes many farming communities. The name 'Prairie Spirit' was chosen from a contest of the residents of the School Division. Prairie Spirit encompasses shared values of co-operation, honesty, trust, hard work, determination, foresight, pride in a job well done, and courage to try new things.
Ste. Marie School, part of the Prairie Spirit School Division, is located in Bruxelles, Manitoba. It is a K-8 School with 44 students and a staff of 5. We are located approximately 95 miles west of Winnipeg, just off highway 34.
Boissevain is situated in southwest Manitoba on #10 highway, a 45 minute drive south of Brandon, and only a 15 minute drive north of the Canada / US border. Manitou Elementary will be offering an after school sports program on Thursdays for students in grades 4,5,6. The program will include soccer, volleyball, pilo polo, basketball, dodge ball, badminton, crazy baseball and running ball. Mr. Steppler will coordinate this program with the help from our staff members.
