Al Cameron Bluenose Motor Co. is a family run dealership operating in Parksville since 2003. Like the famous Bluenose schooner, Al hails from Nova Scotia where his uncle has operated the largest used car dealership in Atlantic Canada for the past 40 years. With a background in agricultural science, wildlife studies and habitat mapping, Bea's introduction to the world of retail came when she and Al made a joint decision to open Bluenose Motor Co. Ltd. Bea's concern for the environment continues to be expressed in the Bluenose philosophy of environmentally responsible decision-making. In a relatively short period of time, Al and Bea have established a business that defies the stigma of the typical used car lot.
