I find Dr. Noel to be one of the best for treating ear and hearing problems. He is sympathetic and very understanding of the frustrations a very hard of hearing person is experiences. His office staff are very helpful and willing to adjust for clients, especially those who come from other areas. Due to their popularity I think it has been a long time since this location was their main production facility but that hasn't stopped them from turning this into a unique and fun tourist attraction on the Island. Offering tours daily, you can learn about how their beer is made and more about the history of this unique little piece of brewing history in Vancouver. Granville Island Brewery was one of the first microbreweries in Canada and obviously they did a great job because they started a revolution in the Canadian brewing industry and were even just acquired by Molson Coors earlier this year. After your tour you get to sit and enjoy a sampler tray of 3 different beers. Or, you can just skip the tour and belly up to the bar in the tasting room and try all of their great brews named after Vancouver neighbourhoods and landmarks. The building is old and in constant need of repair and finding willing volunteer to fix an electrical or plumbing problem is very difficult in an aging community. Back in 2009 funds had been donated to renovate the washrooms which involved removing old toilets and existing stalls, ripping out the old floor and putting in new floorboards with a new vinyl surface, installing new toilets, seals and fixtures, painting the old wooden stalls, doors and walls.
