He has studied with some of the great drum masters, including Jim Blackley (Jazz), Armando Peraza, Alex Acun~a, Changuito, Enrique Pla, Roberto Vizcain~o, Cutumba, Los Mun~equitos de Matanzas (AfroCuban), Mohammed Sadek and Michel Merhej Baklouk (Middle Eastern).
