Laurie also holds an Honours B.A. in Drama In Education as well as a teaching degree in Dramatic Arts and is a Certified Addiction Counsellor. Laurie is certified in Montessori Methods for Alzheimer’s and Dementia, developed by Maria Montessori, the first female physician in Italy, and adapted for people with Alzheimer’s and Dementia by Dr. Jeremy Camp. Laurie is also a certified Laughter Yoga Leader and is available to facilitate your group laugh-a-thon! In the fall of 2016 Laurie became EAGALA Certified Mental Health Specialist for Equine Assisted Psychotherapy. and offers Equine Assisted Psychotherapy with her three miniature horses.
