Andrea grew up as the daughter of two classical musicians but always was in the garden or the woods instead of the studio practising. They met in the central hall of a mushroom farm where Steve was production manager and Andrea was taking her high school horticulture students on a tour. Steve & Andrea moved from the Fraser Valley to the Okanagan and started raising children and pastured poultry at their current location in 1994.
