WALK IT OFF Spinal Cord Wellness Centre Inc and Physiotherapy is a Not-For-Profit organization that provides Activity-Based-Therapy, education and support to those living with neurological dysfunction, specializing in spinal cord injuries (SCI). We use a unique SCI recovery method that conditions the entire body: Our focus is to stimulate the non-functioning areas of the body through core strengthening and repetitive load bearing exercise. Barbara Paull is a British trained physiotherapist and a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, UK. She immigrated to Canada in 1967 and has concentrated upon orthopaedic physiotherapy practice and post-graduate education for over forty years. She is an active member of the Ontario Physiotherapy Association.
In 1985 Barbara left her position as Director of Physiotherapy at York County Hospital (now Southlake Regional Hospital) in Newmarket, to open this private clinic. In 1992 she opened a second clinic dedicated to injured musicians. www.stouffvillemusiciansinjuriesclinic.ca.
Barbara has designed and established on-site clinics in local industries, where physiotherapists provide ergonomic consultations and care for injured workers.
