British Swim School offers swimming lessons for kids and adults of all ages, starting as early as 3 months. Located inside of Westview School, our swim school is open year-round, so you can learn to swim when you’re ready and continue until you’ve mastered the skills. We use gentle teaching methods and a survival-first approach to help swimmers of all levels become safer and more confident in the water. Our safe, fun, and effective teaching methods have made us the preferred choice for parents and students for over 40 years. Our confidence-building curriculum and small group swimming classes provide a consistent format and structure with one-on-one attention for each swimmer. Private swimming lessons are subject to availability.

Our brand new all season swimming pool is beautifully surrounded in a solarium-type enclosure and a rubber surface decking all around the 18 x 50ft pool. We are currently offering competitive swim packages which includes exclusive programs for swimmers that have an erratic schedule or require only to refine a specific stroke. As an added bonus, most of our instructors have competitive swimming backgrounds and will be able to assess weaknesses in a stroke and help optimize and improve it. We can also offer courses like standard First Aid and Leadership Courses that will lead our swimmers down the road to becoming a lifeguard. Our aquatics program is always willing to work and accommodate your needs.

Offering you easy access via Hurontario or Eglinton, located in the Mississauga Marketplace shopping plaza, the British Swim School program operating inside the LA Fitness. Offering a variety of small group classes to suit the littlest of beginners through to advanced swimmers, adults and private classes. Our unique program is taught inside this heated, state of the art Fitness center pool with a water temperature of 85-86 degrees and air temperature at 87 degrees. This facility features on deck showers and on deck changing. Plus, you will work with the areas best instructors. Located at 4561 Hurontario St, Mississauga, ON L4Z 3X3 directly inside LA Fitness. Making Waves Swim School has been producing confident swimmers and providing award-winning water safety programs for children and adults since 1994. The Milton location is a purpose-built private aquatic facility that has been part of the Making Waves family of pools since 2006. In the summer of 2014 it underwent a major renovation and now boasts a spacious family change room, a large modern viewing area, expanded parking lot and a state of the art UV water sanitation system! Families in Milton also love the wide walk-in steps for small children and the handy kids' play area. The pool is also kept at a warm 90 degrees to keep your little ones warm while they learn!
