Our Murphy Beds are made of furniture grade plywood using NAUF, LEEDS and FSC certified materials. Our Mechanism and frame is a durable and tested spring loaded mechanism and a steel frame that will last a lifetime. The idea to start Island Murphy Beds came when we realized how infrequently we used our guest room. The Murphy Bed allowed us to re-claim that unused space while at the same time giving our guests a comfortable place to sleep.
