Was a great experience! Only 2nd and 3rd tattoo so am relatively inexperienced but everyone was really helpful and respectful. Great knowledge and suggestions before starting, lots of communication to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. The artist, Arie was very talented and did a flawless job on both pieces I got. James is awesome, so fast yet extremely detailed and and talented. He has done all three of mine at great prices and done so perfect. He gives suggestions to your vision respectfully and with enthusiasm that makes you more excited about your piece. He knows what he is taking about and gets the most out of what you bring him or ask him to come up with with olacement anf size. The shop is super relaxed and clean and was a lot of fun to hang out in while getting work done.

Gypsy Rose opened in March 2006, with two tattoo artists and one piercer. We have since grown into a new and more central location with a well-rounded staff of seven artists and two body piercers! We offer Tattoos and Body Piercing by appointment and walk-in, as long as you produce a piece of valid government issued ID.
Nina Gremo, the owner/creative genius behind Gypsy Rose, began her career in a historical Canadian tattoo studio, Way Cool - Queen Street in Toronto in 1999. She has worked and lived locally and internationally and brings together the best of what she learned to create Gypsy Rose.
Since 2006, we have also hosted several successful charitable events and have raised nearly $15,000.00 for the Calgary Food Bank (as well as 3+ tonnes of food and toiletries for donation). We have also raised $5000.00+ for the Calgary Women's Shelter, ARF, and the Calgary Humane Society. Our City has been great to us and helped us grow to what we are today, and we always want to give back.
