She is also a member of the Bellyfit development team. Leanne strives to make the studio a positive, healthy, community experience. She also greatly appreciates the diverse talent of her amazing instructors. Birgit Nilson has a diploma in Kinesiology and is a BCRPA registered Personal Trainer and Trainer of Fitness Leaders. She is also the owner of WorkWise Occupational Health Consulting. She has been teaching Fitness and Yoga classes for over 15 years and has been teaching Pilates matwork at Island Pilates and Fitness since 2006. Combining knowledge and her vast experience, Birgit will help you find new ways to challenge your body in a safe and enjoyable environment. Jessica Wittman is a certified Zumba Fitness Instructor,and also brings numerous certifications from dance, yoga and Pilates. Jessica is thrilled to be back in the Comox Valley after spending many years in California and Vancouver. Her infectious enthusiasm will keep you coming back to her classes again and again. Toni Dunne has been practicing yoga for 10 years. Her first love is Ashtanga Yoga, as she enjoys the flowing fast-paced nature of the practice, linking movement with breath. And while she still loves and practises this style, she continues to expand her practice, incorporating teachings from both the Iyengar and Anusara yoga traditions. Having completed the Yogaworks teacher training in 2009, Toni is elated to be able to share all that she has learned with her students, and looks forward to exploring the transformative potential of the practice. She feels grateful to be given the opportunity to teach at Island Pilates and Fitness, and give back to this supportive and inspiring community. Edith Jacob has entertained many large crowds and small intimate gatherings in a variety of dance forms over the past 10 years: Middle Eastern, Gypsy, Flamenco and Dance theater.

When Terracentric owners Christine Hollmann and Hugh Prichard met, it was quickly apparent that they shared a common vision - a company that offered innovative, high quality, experiential adventures in the amazing outdoors of the upper Sunshine Coast. Powell River had the perfect physical environment for the development of adventure based learning and recreation programs that provide active, positive learning opportunities for youth, families and educational, therapeutic and organizational groups. Since June of 2001 Terracentric Coastal Adventures has been consulting, developing and delivering adventure learning programs and wilderness guiding services in a wide range of settings for both public and private sector organizations. After 3 successful years located right in the Lund Hotel building, we have as of July 1st, 2005 moved our office and storefront to the top floor of the beautiful new Harbour's Edge building, which is home to the well known Nancy's Bakery. This move allows us to focus more heavily on our marine environmental education through our tours and programs. We will be working to have proceeds from our tours going to the Georgia Strait Alliance, an organization that exists to raise awareness about and effect change in pollution of the Strait. At the same time, we continue to hilight the forest environmental through our hikes and also at our Ropes Course facility, located south of Powell River.

You can become a seller, strictly buy, or volunteer. and by popular demand, there is also the option to donate this year.There is typically a line-up down the street for this sale.
