The Hiiye'yu Lelum (House of Friendship) Society provides health, social, recreational and cultural services to promote individual, family and community self-reliance. These services address the needs and aspirations of aboriginal people and focus on well-being within a cross-cultural context. To provide a cultural bridge between the Aboriginal and non-aboriginal cultures in the Cowichan Valley. To provide a central facility where counselling, information and referral services are provided and where meetings, education and recreation activities may take place. To provide opportunities for the development of Aboriginal leadership in the community. To promote the well-being of Aboriginal people through program development.

We have the tools, knowledge, and experience required to help you succeed, and we are ready to share it all to enable you to improve and maintain your health goals. In other words, knead wants you to get healthy and to stay that way. Ultimately, our primary goals are to treat without judgement, while upholding the high standards and ethical practice set out the various associations that govern our practitioners. We work hard to give you our best when it comes to “hands-on health care”. The practitioners at knead want to enable everyone to view our Massage Therapy services not as luxuries, but as needs. These services can be part of everyones health care program. We do not do Acupuncture or Physiotherapy here.

Dr. Eugene Tang operates a family dental office that provides the full scope of dental care. Modern technology, regular training, and an eye on current developments in dentistry research: we do everything to ensure your teeth get expert treatment. Our relaxed atmosphere and friendly service go hand in hand - naturally. Dr. Tang is fluent in English, French, and Cantonese. New patients are welcome.
