The Sharp Bus Lines of today started as a small school bus company with 3 school buses. The family owned business was originally operated from their farm in Glen Morris, Ontario. The kitchen table was the corporate headquarters, the barn was the service facility and pay phones were used for the communications system. Our Past President, Don Sharp, along with his wife, Mary, were the companies' first bus drivers, mechanics, bookkeepers and dispatchers.

The Owners of Trio have backgrounds as owner-operated in the transportation industry for many years before the incorporation of their own company. Trio was initially started with two major customers, transporting frozen commodities from the Greater Toronto area to points in Western Canada, and hauling fresh beef back to Ontario and Quebec.
