The Trailsman Motel is the only motel in the Baddeck area on the shores of the beautiful Bras D'or Lake. Our property is at the head of Nyanza Bay, one of the best places on Cape Breton Island to view bald eagles. The spacious grounds and gardens of the motel lead to the water's edge, where you frequently find Canadian geese with their young or a bald eagle flying overhead. The Trailsman's 55 modern motel units offer views of the lake and grounds. Most units have a fridge, coffee maker and view of the lake.
