Sandra Wieland, Ph.D., R.Psych. is a registered psychologist in Sidney, British Columbia who works with both children and adults who have experienced childhood trauma. Early trauma can create considerable fright which leads to a high sense of danger, inability to trust or be close to people, cutting off emotions and thoughts, and acting in ways that one does not wish to. Dr. Sandra Wieland uses play therapy and EMDR with traumatized children and talk therapy and EMDR with traumatized adults.
