Our wee yorkie "T.J." started a terrible cough and was having trouble breathing.. Unfortunately our family vet was in surgery and not available on this particular day?. We called 4 other veterinary clinics in the area and all of them said "sorry, no appts available" we couldn't believe that even being an extreme emergency (difficulty breathing) we were being turned away! When we called Durham vet clinic they welcomed us with open arms and was being assessed and treated a couple hours later!❤️

We are not patients at Cavan but our vet was away so had to bring our dog here after another dog attacked us. After waiting untreated at Kawartha Veterinary Emergency Clinic for over six hours, we left and went to Cavan. Upon arrival, we were taken in promptly, our dog was treated and we were sent home with care instructions. The compassion and professionalism shown by Dr. Kalish was second to none. I'm so thankful he treated Linc's injuries as an emergency! Would highly recommend!

Sherbrooke Heights has been our vet of choice for the past 13.5 years and we are very pleased with the quality of care and the compassion showed to us over the years. He did his Masters in Veterinary Surgery in 1991 in India and got his Canadian veterinary licence in 2007. He worked as a veterinarian in India for 15 years. He worked as an associate veterinarian in the Greater Toronto Area before fulfilling his dream of opening his own practice which he did when he opened Grandview Bloor Animal Clinic in 2010. Above all, Dr. Prajapati respects the veterinarian’s oath; he believes in the prevention of disease. Over the years the cases he has worked on have enabled him to learn many different surgeries and gain valuable experience in internal medicine.
