Red Deer Goldsmiths has been an integral part of Central Alberta for nearly 30 years. Victor, our owner and lead goldsmith, was Red Deer's first goldsmith, and has over 40 years of experience. Although others have come and gone, his superior craftsmanship and attention to detail have kept him as one of the most trusted goldsmiths in Central Alberta. We first opened our doors in 1978, in a small 2nd floor office in the old Scott Block building. Ten years later, business had grown to such an extent that a larger space was needed on the street level to accommodate retail sales. In October 2003, it came time to once again find a new location, our current one at 5212, 48 St. in Red Deer.

John Carmen Roberts graduated from Elgin Watchmakers College in 1948. After coming out of the war, where he was an aircraft instrument technician. He worked for a few local Jewellers doing watch repairs until opening his own store, J. C. Roberts Jewellers LTD, Established in 1952 Several of the 7 siblings have worked in the store over the last 58 years and now David Roberts and sister Mary Morgan are responsible for the continued success of the family-oriented business.
