Bow Cycle is a family owned business that has been in operation for 60 years. Opened in 1957 by Jim and Mary Sibthorpe, Bow Cycle was first established as a small bicycle and sporting goods store in beautiful downtown Bowness, Alberta. The Sibthorpe sons successfully managed and grew the business for 30 years. In 2005, Longtime employees John Franzky, Darrell Elliott, Kurt Christensen, Kevin Senior and Dave Leung joined the ownership group as well as Joel Sibthorpe.
A lot has changed since the store's early days. The store has grown to become Canada's largest and most successful bicycle retailer.

They tell me that they have 4,000 bikes on the floor at one time. A great retail experience and I will be back. I can honestly say that this is the only bike shop that I felt I needed to take a photo of.Read more
