Established in 2011, Mark Westgate and Kevin Day started Calibre Doors and Millwork ltd. Although a new business, Mark and Kevin have almost 30 years of combined woodworking experience on the Island. They have been working together for the past 7 years, after finishing their Joinery apprenticeships at BCIT. This partnership allows them to work well together, complementing each other's strengths and giving Calibre Doors the ability to manufacture the finest quality products. They take great pride in their work and are committed to keeping strict timelines and establishing great relationships with all of their clients. Our doors are constructed using the time honoured technique of mortise and tenon joinery. We source the best quality wood, whether it's Douglas Fir, White Oak, Cherry, Eastern Maple, or Sapele, just to name a few. Each board is carefully inspected and cut to produce the finest product possible.
