We have finally set out with a new location on Main Street after celebrating ten years on Commercial Drive! Our favorites from the Commercial Drive location will be available on the Main Street menu, as well as some additional hand-picked street food items from Mumbai and regional seafood cuisine from Mangalore in South India. We will also be presenting a whole new cocktail selection. Our Main Street location's dining area has been transformed into an airy lounge with natural light, Indian antiques, Indian temple sculptures, reclaimed wood, brass and modern lighting, and comfy seats for the ideal Indian dining experience. Named after the Bimini Islands in the Bahamas, Bimini's first opened its doors in 1974 after being granted the Province's first Neighborhood Pub license. The busy bar was quickly embraced by the post Summer of Love-era hippie locals; environmental agency Greenpeace's head office was across the street, and many of their radical plots were hatched in strategy meetings over pints at Bim's.

On Saturday June 21st, we held a private concert in the shop at Le Marché. Flights of Fancy, a night of 17th century Italian music, featured performances by Paul Luchkow (violin) and Michael Jarvis (harpsichord) . When I arrived, I walked into Marché in a state of dishevelled beauty. The cafe was still taking orders as Janaki, Pascal and crew made preparations for another one of our lovely collaborations.

Started in 1995, we celebrate our 20th year in Taiwanese specialty with our 11th Restaurant located on 1947 West 4th Ave. Under the Bubble world group, "Tai One Vancouver" brings Taiwanese cuisine to a new level, by fusing various elements from Thai, Southern Asia and other cuisines, and creating many one-of-a-kind dishes. The restaurant also features over 200 choices of non-alcoholic drinks and distinct variations of Taiwanese Beer and Asia Wines.

Each day the food for our guests is prepared from scratch for the night’s dinner service by the talented Fable team from the local ingredients that arrive at our door. A delicious lunch menu is served from Monday to Friday. Brunch is featured on Saturdays & Sundays.

His menu is rooted in balancing intense fresh flavours with seasonal ingredients and locally sourced products, while respecting the tradition and the origin of each recipe. With inspiration found in continuous travel, the menu at Maenam is ever-changing but always served with Thai flare and enjoyed in its traditional context, be it family style dining or riffs on Thai street food.
