In 1960, JELD-WEN® was a small Oregon millwork plant with 15 employees. During those early days, the company established a culture based on inspired vision, thoughtful planning, and diligent craftsmanship. By bringing the companies of Willmar Windows, United Windows, DF Windows and Millwork Distribution into the family, JELD-WEN has extended its corporate culture and philosophy to Canada. BLS began making labels to supply the systems dealers in 1989. From the beginning we have focused on supporting strong dealers with private label products to help them develop their brand. In the fall of 2009 BLS became a part of The Folder Factory. Both companies support dealers in over a dozen countries around the world. Our motto is simple, ''We will produce a product to your specifications at a good price with excellent service.'' In recent years we have moved to produce more custom labels for a variety of uses. We are selling these though our regular dealer network as an extra product line. Like folders and color code labels, commercial labels can become a profitable repeat business opportunity.
