Originally built in 1939, The Royal Cinema is an historic Art Moderne movie house located in the heart of Little Italy. The 450-seat theatre was known as the Pylon when it first opened in 1939. Over time, it's become one of Toronto's most cherished landmarks. With the threat of closure looming in 2007, Theatre D Digital moved in during the fall, seeing an opportunity to bring their unique business model to a second facility (the first being The Regent Theatre). The Royal continues to operate in the evenings as a second-run indie/art house cinema. However with extensive upgrades and renovations, it is now also a digitally-equipped screening and live event venue, adhering to the highest standards for picture and sound presentation. Gallery 345 is an L-shaped space of over 2,000 square feet with 12 foot wood ceilings and plaster and brick walls, designed and lit for the display of art.The gallery is on the first floor of a century-old warehouse in Toronto's West End, just north of the tennis courts in the Sorauren Avenue park. The building was originally a one storey shed built in the 1890s to manufacture pianos. In 1910 a second and third storey was added to the building when manufacturers of ball bearings, then tiles, took possession.

Loop Gallery has been in operation since December 2000. Loop features artist/members who have a solid practice and an alternative pro-active approach the their careers. The Loop artists work together to organize exhibitions and events and develop and promote the gallery. Working with other cultural institutions and local business, Loop has become recognized and respected for its contributions to the Toronto art community and the quality of its exhibitions. Loop exhibitions are frequently reviewed in both local and national press.

MKG127, Burns looks at the relationships of nature, animals, and the artistic avant-garde to advanced industrialism. Goat milking and honey rendering events will be announced as the exhibition unfolds (The Bill Burns Show Part 1 included a sheep shearing and log carvings). The atmosphere is changeable and utopian. Bill Burns was born into a book selling family in Regina, Saskatchewan. His work has been shown at the Institute for Contemporary Arts, London; Museum of Modern Art, New York; and the Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam. His recent book series entitled Three Books and an Audio CD about Plants and Animals and War was published by Verlag der Buchhandlung Walther Konig, Collogne.
