I've been twice now, and both times were absolutely fantastic.
The Gnocchi I ate the first time there was the best I've ever had, and it's not even close. I actually moaned, involuntarily, taking a bite of it. Bruschetta was the appetizer I had. The ratio of tomatoes to bread to garlic and herbs was perfect.
Lastly came the tiramisu. Absolutely delectable. melted in my mouth.
Sure it's a bit dingy inside, but they're making upgrades as they can, and the food more than makes up for it.

We hosted our Wedding Rehearsal Dinner at Tavolo and it was beyond amazing! The staff was extremely helpful from booking the space to answering my many questions prior to our visit. Came to this place with a few friends and I thought it did taste good, minus the waiters accidently putting ice cream on my apple crisp, it still was really good. My fiancé and I were in Oakville so we decided to try this sushi place out after reading good reviews on Google. We have eaten sushi all over Ontario. And this is the best tasting by far!! Service is really good too.

Went here for lunch but will not be back.
I must say the food here is very good.
Unfortunately the Service Manager or Waiter is very pushy and will invite himself into your conversations. He invited himself to sample our food (which we declined), he kept trying to hit on us, and stood over us until we ordered. In addition, there were 4 gentlemen just standing around the bar looking around the whole time. It was annoying.
I am Italian and have been to many great Italian restaurants, but this is not one of them. It has great potential, great decor and great food but lacks in customer service. I really do hope they change it around.
