Mike, Michela's dad writes...
Michela has recently completed the five day program with Helen McGillivray at Mind Over Dyslexia and my wife and I are super pleased with the results. More importantly, Michela is even more pleased. She is happier now, more in control and her self esteem has soared! Her reading level has jumped substantially in just a few months. In the past, she would avoid reading. At times, it was a battle to have her read. We love the fact that she now just picks up a book, magazine or flyer and reads on her own! Her printing and spelling have improved as well. But the most important point is that Michela sees her improvement and she is now much more confident. It is almost like the fog has lifted!
We were fortunate to stumble on to the Davis Program and Helen McGillivray at Mind Over Dyslexia. Helen is one of the nicest, compassionate, experienced and professional person you will ever meet. She is very good at what she does. We are so glad we chose Helen to help us. If while reading this letter or the book "The Gift of Dyslexia" you see similarities to yourself or your child, don't hesitate to enroll in the program. We would have most certainly continued to spend the same money on tutoring this year and in my opinion achieved nowhere near the same results. If you could see the joy in my child's face now that she "gets it", now that the fog has lifted, you'd sign up yesterday and pay double the fee.

My son has made significant gains since attending Exceptional Minds because of the highly qualified, well trained staff. Unlike EOK who used high pressure scare tactics to make me believe I had no choice when it came to my son's program and funding, I have had frequent communication with EM staff to share input and ensure consistency. Even former staff who left are now trying to return as they now see just how green the grass was over here. EM cares about quality services for children with ASD.

Since 2014, ALROWAD Canadian Schools, a weekend Islamic school based in Mississauga, has been offering in-person and online studies for children ages 4 to 17. Our program covers the Arabic language, Islamic studies, and the holy Quran, taught by passionate teachers with extensive experience in teaching and engaging with children.
Students perform the ZUHR prayer in a group inside the school premises every school day. Helen McGillivray B.A.Sc, B.Ed (certified and licensed Davis Dyslexia Correction facilitator) helps clients learn how to use their natural visual and spatial awareness to overcome their learning difficulties & accomplish goals in life, at school and in the work place.
Training can help adults, teens and children take control and overcome challenges associated with learning disabilities such as dyslexia, ADD/ADHD, dyspraxia, dyscalculia and auditory processing.
Programs address the root cause of learning problems in reading, writing, spelling, math, handwriting, motor coordination, auditory perception and focusing issues.

Mindfulness sessions available for children, teens, adults, classrooms, families. Learn how to pay attention in the moment and experience the many benefits of doing so including decreasing stress, anxiety and depression and increasing wellness.
We founded our first Inspiration Learning Center in Toronto in 2003 and have since expanded to six learning centers in the GTA with two home-away-from-home, residential, home-stay houses.
