Designed to verify the integrity of the weld, when installed by a skilled technician the patented Dufort Test Plug tests not only the weld, but the whole component as required by TSSA. The environmentally friendly procedure has been adapted for hydrostatic testing on weld-neck, socket weld, and slip on flanges, welded unions, boiler and exchanger tubes, nozzles, valves, and Lokring fittings. The Dufort Isolation Plug is used as an additional safety precaution to ensure a safe working environment when hot work is being performed on a line that is not entirely free of gases. We carry a multitude of plug sizes from 1/2" to 48" as well as working out specific solutions for the customized needs of our clients.

This great honour has been bestowed upon Sir Karim Hakimi for his many generous contributions such as donating hundreds of thousands of pairs of eyeglasses to people in less fortunate countries. And most recently, participating in Ride for Sight in support of The Foundation Fighting Blindness.When a man as busy as Sir Hakimi makes time to help in humanitarian efforts, it is worthy of our admiration and congratulations to Sir Hakimi for doing a wonderful job.Hakim Optical began more than 40 years ago with Mr. Hakim grinding lenses for the Canadian wholesale market.
