This is my favourite fabric and crafts store in all of B.C. Never busy or understaffed due to the unpopulated city location, line ups for the cashier are often short or nonexistent. You'll find the friendly staff very helpful to navigate you through their wide selection. Plus they often have rare items and colours instock to pick-up unlike other busy Vancouver or Burnaby locations. 40% discount coupons (for 1item) are available every day.Read more

The CDMF was started in 1953 on the suggestion of Beryl MacLeod (Founder). At that time the students were participating in the Kiwanis Festival in Vancouver. The parents, children and teachers were weary of driving or taking the train all the way into the city and back, often returning late at night. Beryl suggested, 'Let's put Port Coquitlam on the map and start our own festival'.
