The school's mission is to develop a dedicated community of musicians who will participate in and enjoy music for the rest of their lives. All faculty are university trained, professional musicians dedicated to teaching music in a way which will nurture a love of music, engender creative thinking, and motivate students to commit to and achieve a high level of playing. We encourage students to participate in the many performing opportunities and masterclasses offered throughout the year. Community involvement is a priority and students and faculty frequently play at community sponsored events.
