Peter Davies and Janet Brady started Brambles Art Retreat 12 years ago. They found a beautiful cottage deep in the Devonshire countryside, hidden away in the tiny hamlet of Sprytown. Inspired to paint by the beautiful surroundings and relaxed pace, they opened an Art Retreat. A place to unwind in an idyllic setting where you can indulge your creativity. Janet's first love is Watercolour, her speciality is dramatic landscapes in rich deep colours achieved by using only transparent paints. More topics she covers are seascapes sunsets and flowers. She also teaches abstract acrylic, seascapes, sunsets and flowers. At Brambles you can also learn to draw, anything from the fundamentals to the more challenging aspects of Life drawing.
