Wonderful experience. The restaurant offers a 3course meal for Brunch with live jazz music. Great ambiance with a beautiful indoor terrace setting. Great selections of cocktails, appetizers, main course and dessert. I would definitely recommend this location to celeberate special occasions.

You don't go there for the ambiance or the decoration: you go there for their fish'n chips :) they are probably the best in Mtl :) we go once a month with the team and everytime, it's all good :)

Knox...Remember when you used to go to a fun place with happy people and the food was excellent AND you ate tasty food in portions that are satisfying ? Although the hotel was undergoing renovations and looked like a run-down apartment building (also was in a sort of ""ghetto"" neighbourhood), the hotel was actually quite decent and nice inside. It looked like a hotel at least. The front desk staff were pleasant and friendly. I liked the fact that they didn’t charge for parking (which if we would have stayed on the other side of the bridge in downtown Ottawa, they would have). There was just a lot of construction going on and at times was very noisy (if you opened the room window/balcony). The staff were very accommodating. Room was always cleaned well and washroom was fine (only complaint is the hot water in the shower was a bit weird -- kept changing from hot to cold on some of the days). Overall it was quite a decent hotel for the price. I wouldn’t mind staying here again if I can’t get anything cheaper/similar quality downtown.

I have been going to grinder twice a month for the past year and every time they find a way to give me an even better experience. All the staff is great, especially Steve the manager! He is super friendly and really know how to make you feel welcome. And Last but not least, if you are looking to have the complete grinder experience, you need to sit at the bar,order a tomahawk,a good bottle of wine and watch Peter do what he does best..making you feel like you are as important as his best friend!
