Outlook Magazine is an independent, secular Jewish publication with a socialist-humanist perspective. Outlook was founded in 1963. It is published six times per year. The magazine has collectives in Ottawa, Toronto, Winnipeg, and Vancouver We accept articles related to our mandate. Original articles may be printed in whole or part, with permission of the editor, provided proper credit is given. Articles are typically between 1000 – 1500 words.

Founded on October 4, 1983, CBS Parts Ltd was originally known as Canadian Brake Supply and began its business rebuilding brake shoes in a 3,000 sq ft warehouse. Eventually, the business expanded to Burnaby, Abbotsford, Kamloops and Prince George and changed its name to CBS Parts to better reflect the wide range of products being supplied. In 2004, the head office was relocated to a 32,000 sq ft building in Surrey. True to its origins, CBS is still rebuilding brake shoes today. In 1996, a partnership was formed with Fort Garry Industries to improve buying power and service to our customers.
