5 years ago our cat was hit by a car and it was 11:30pm by the time we found him. When he was barely able to move, we knew that we had to get him some care and fast. Our normal vet was closed and there seemed to be few options. Then, looking in the Yellow Pages, we found the ad for Vancouver Animal Emergency Clinic and thank goodness we did. As it turned out, our cat was in shock and suffering from a broken pelvis and a dislocated hip. Without the expert care and fast response of the veterinarians at the Animal ER it is likely that our cat would not have made it until morning. The caring staff ensured that they got him the care that he needed overnight until we was stable enough to be transferred to our vet for further treatment. The fact that he is dozing in the chair beside me today, 5 years later, is testament to the wonderful care provided at the Animal ER. If you find yourself in the unfortunate position of having to deal with a sick or injured animal you love and don't know where to turn, call the Animal ER.

I was recently treated by Dr. M. Reskovich for an emergency tooth extraction. The extraction was of a molar and turned into a full surgical procedure, including bone augmentation. This was my first visit to Dr. Reskovich's practice. I am a retired dentist myself and I cannot emphasize enough about the skill, care and attention I received. Dr. Reskovich and his staff were most professional and truly caring. Dr. Reskovich administered the needle very gently and his hands were most skilled as he tackled a difficult extraction with patience. I love this place! The staff are amazing, and make you feel SO comfortable. They make every effort to talk to you and explain things in detail if need be. The hygienists are all so gentle, you would never know they were cleaning while they do it. Very trendy location, and decor. Hopefully they get Wi-Fi sometime soon so you can use your phone to watch shows as an alternative to the great TV's they have for each patient room!
