Kildonan is the first Presbyterian Congregation established west of the Great Lakes.It was founded under the leadership of the Rev. John Black in 1851.We are the home of the original Selkirk Settlers who came to Red River at the invitation of Lord Selkirk, following the Highland Clearances in Scotland, in the early 1800?s.The Kildonan Presbyterian Cemetery adjacent is the resting place of many early Winnipeg pioneers.

We meet at 10:00 am for a potluck fellowship brunch, then we have a worship service beginning at 11:00 am.West End Christian Community is led by a team of pastoral leaders, namely Robert Baron, George Balaktsis, Andre Cyr and Vic Geddert. In addition to this pastoral leaders' team, there are many others who serve in various forms of leadership in our Church. Since 1904, the parish has been under the direction of the Basilian Order of St. Josaphat.
