McIvor Avenue Mennonite Brethren Church is a community-focused church that offers worship services, children's and youth ministries, and various events aimed at fostering faith and connection among its members.
We believe in the one living eternal God in three persons: God, the Father; God, the Son; and God the Holy Spirit; Creator of all things. We believe in the deity, virgin birth, sinless humanity, substitutionary death, atoning blood, bodily resurrection, and ascension to heaven of Jesus Christ.
When unable to receive Holy Communion, one can make a Spiritual Communion. This is an act expressing what was described by St. Thomas Aquinas as an ardent desire to receive Jesus in the Most Holy Sacrament and in lovingly embracing Him.
