About UsIndia Rainbow Community Services of Peel is a non-profit, charitable, community based organization. Our services are non-religious and non-political.
Since its inception in 2001, TorontoMuslims.com envisioned the idea of utilizing the web and email to build bridges between the various Muslim organizations, centres, mosques, leaders, volunteers and the community at large. TorontoMuslims.com is the only website in Ontario that lists the current Muslim community events, free of charge to everyone. It also publishes a highly anticipated e-newsletter, the only of its kind, that reaches out to several thousand individuals, families, and institutions across Canada twice a week. It's the place that Toronto's Muslims Go First!
The true mission of Johrei, and the work of our organization, is to bring about ideal conditions on earth, replacing the illness, poverty and strife now prevailing. The ultimate objective is to bring about, by means of the purifying process of Johrei, and through service, the necessary spiritual elevation and understanding that make possible an individual's constructive participation in God's plan.' 'By teaching Truth, virtuous living, and the enjoyment of beauty, I guide people to the pathway of heaven. Truth is the way, virtue is the deed, and beauty is the heart.
Jaffari Community Centre in Thornhill, ON. The vandalism is being investigated by York Regional Police. It was only a week ago that the ISIJ hosted an Interfaith event which welcomed people from all faiths from across York Region. Having this occur following what was truly one of the most heartening and meaningful experiences is completely unacceptable. While appalling, these actions do not represent the attitudes of Canada's multicultural society.
The community of members that make up the ISIJ of Toronto began congregating for major religious occasions in the late 1960's. Today we have grown into a Shia Muslim community whose organization is a source of inspiration to other Muslim communities continent-wide. There are currently almost 2000 voting Members of the ISIJ of Toronto, which when including family members translates to approximately 5000 individuals. The Membership is comprised primarily, but not exclusively, of Shia Muslims of Indian origin from East Africa with a deep and rich history of worship, congregation and community service. Indeed, serving and managing the affairs of a Community of this size requires dedication, organization and a collective desire to 'be your neighbour's keeper.' As a result of this spirit, we have established 5 separate places of worship in Thornhill, Richmond Hill, Brampton, Hamilton and London, Ontario.
The name and the mission of this ministry is derived from the passage in James chapter one verse twenty seven( James 1;27), which says, I quote; Pure religion and undefiled before God the Father is this, to take care of the orphans, fatherless and widows in their time of need and to keep oneself unspotted from the world. With this spirit and the knowledge of what the bible says about helping the needy and by doing this we do it to the Lord,a vission came to St. Godbe in the year 1999 to start a ministry which will be purely dedicated to the cause of pleading the case of orphans, fatherless, widows and the poor in general. In the year 2001, the Lord established 'JamesOne-27 Missions' which has a headquarter in Toronto Canada.JamesOne-27 Ministries is a fully incorperated charity organization in Canada and has the following branch operational ministries under it.
