You don't want to miss the Happy Hour BBQ course, because it's just that great. I'm not a huge fan of the chicken garlic fried noodles as the pasta was thick, but I do appreciate how the noodles were a little crispy on the outside. Service can be slow but in general the servers I've had have always been nice and willing to help, but because it's often busy, it may take a little bit longer to get you what you need. I used to be a hostess so I know how stressful it can be and they usually don't get as much credit as they deserve. Overall, still the great dine out! Read more

Scout Magazine – launched in late 2008 by local writers/photographers Andrew Morrison and Michelle Sproule – is Vancouver's leading food and culture website. Its main objective has been the same from the start: to 'scout out' and promote the things that make Vancouver such a sweet place to be. It does this with an emphasis on the city's independent spirit to foster a sense of connectedness within and between our communities, and to introduce our readers to the people who grow and cook our food, play the raddest tunes in our better venues, create our most interesting art, and design everything from what we wear to the spaces we inhabit.

Nested on the boarder of historical Chinatown; Torafuku invites you to experience simple, yet adventurous interpretations of pan Asian flavours. Explore contemporary dishes crafted from local ingredients sourced by local farms complemented by carefully selected wines, local craft beers, and a fashionable cocktail list.
The restaurant is located just shy of chinatown on main in a less traffic area with plenty of access to street parking. We tried their spicy tuna belly roll, fried chicken wings and crispy market fish which was very moist inside We also had their chocolate cake and ovalatine creme brulee which was pretty good and so Asian. All the dishes were creative and tasty. A nice casual atmosphere to share some bites and Asian beers. Read more
As of September we will have a second pad to call home in North Vancouver. Here are some of the lovely people we get to work with this summer to get it up and running....upcoming eventsYour birthday child and 11 friends can have a gymnastics party!
We have been going to Jump since they opened and couldn't be happier with the experience they provide for our child. With carefully crafted programs, Jump ensures that they follow a steady progression in developing fundamental skills for your children. Physical awareness and body confidence are a primary focus to develop the fundamentals your child will need to participate not only in gymnastics but all sorts of other sports. They also have great staff and take a real interest in ensuring that their programs run smoothly. Not only do they have the structured programs but Jump also offers two services that I simply must mention. The first is their birthday parties. Our child's last birthday party was at Jump and a fabulous time was had by all. The 12 kids had 3 instructors who crafted a fun program of gymnastics, fun and games and the parents had the funky lounge to hang out and chat or observe their little ones from the viewing area. The second great thing that Jump offers are bi-weekly date nights in the middle and end of the month on Fridays. For a nominal sum, you can make reservations to drop your child off at Jump from 5-8pm for a fun night of gymnastics, games, crafts and bedtime stories. Meanwhile, you and your partner or date can go grab dinner or a movie in and around Yaletown or Gastown. Easily the best way to get out and enjoy some quality quiet time while your little ones enjoy a fun time! Jump Gymnastics...easily the best gymnastics school for kids in the city! Read more
