My daughter has been dancing at Fabulous Feet for the past 7 years. She absolutely loves it and her passion for dance grows each year with the skills and choreography the studio provides. The teachers are kind, supportive, and encouraging. There is a great community feel within the studio including the teachers, students, and parents. As an alumni of Pacific Dance I would recommend this school to anyone looking to put their children in ballet. Pacific is one of the best schools on Vancouver Island and is renowned for their year end performances. The school offers a wide range of classes & schedules to accommodate event the busiest of families. The live piano is just an extra bonus. Parksville Ballet School is located in beautiful Parksville, British Columbia on central Vancouver Island. It has been in operation since 1973 and continues to provide excellent dance training to local students. It may look small from the outside, but inside you'll find 4 spacious studios, a large dressing room, bathrooms, office, costume room and waiting area. PBS offers 3 styles of dance training for ages 3 and up. A Kinder Program, a General Program and a Performing Arts Program. Classes include Cecchetti Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Musical Theatre and Modern. Our facility is also rented to others who provide Ballroom, Latin Dance, Belly Dance and Aerobics.
Our studio has been providing dance education for the Victoria dance community for over 10 years.
Currently, we teach group and private dance lessons for adults and kids. We actively promote ballroom and Latin social dances in partnership with Victoria Ballroom Dance Society. Through this partnership, we introduce the Victoria public to such dances as Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Quickstep, ChaCha, Samba, Rumba, and Jive. We also enjoy teaching such dances as West Coast Swing, Hustle, Merengue, and American-style ballroom and Latin dances.
Our method of teaching dance is based on extensive theoretical knowledge of pedagogics, dance sport and physical development. We inspire our students to dream big and never be shy of trying something new, challenging but always fun and exciting.
