Since 1916 Harrow United Church has been a centre of community activity and a place of Christian worship, nurture and service. From its beginnings as the Sunshine Hall on Arbuthnot, offering a place for children and youth in the growing Crescentwood neighbourhood, to its present incarnation on the corner of Mulvey and Harrow, the congregation has always had an outward focus, looking for ways to make a difference in the community and the wider world. Dr. Lisa Schwartzman is a registered clinical psychologist specializing in the treatment of anxiety and mood disorders. She practices primarily from a cognitive behavioural perspective and has been working in private practice for over a decade. She received her master's degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis and her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Manitoba. Her clinical experience includes assessment and treatment of adolescents and adults with the following conditions: anxiety disorders, depression, workplace issues, relationship issues and disability management. She has a special interest in working with individuals with obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorder and social anxiety.
