Sitka is a lifestyle brand designed by the sea and woven by a common thread. At the centre of our collective consciousness is a reverence for our surrounding environment – both the wild and the human in equal measure. We draw our inspiration from trekking the peaks and valleys of the mountain passes, wandering the tree-lined coastal trails, roaming the rainy blocks of the cities and drifting through the swells of the Salish Sea.

Our store is for the serious outdoors person, who knows quality products and does not settle for imitation gear. We are a Canadian family-run business with over 8 years of service in the same location.

Although our name suggests our original focus on the foods of South East Asia, our product offering has since expanded to include the essential ingredients of Asia, India, the Middle East and Mediterranean, the Caribbean and Latin America – an astonishingly diverse array of products including fresh and fragrant herbs and rare spices, sauces and condiments, fresh and dried chiles, exotic fruits, vegetables and mushrooms, curries, chutneys and pickles, fragrant teas, fresh and dried pastas, uncommon rice varieties, seaweeds & sushi ingredients, dim sum & dumplings, fresh tortillas, Mexican cheeses and much, much more.
