Groundwater Information Technologies Ltd. is a geological consulting firm specializing in providing services for anybody concerned with issues related to water in the ground. We undertake aquifer investigations for groundwater supply and water license applications. Investigations of the shallow subsurface for depth to the water table, depth to bedrock and nature of the soil overlying bedrock are also undertaken to determine the suitability of a site for septic field analysis. Our subsurface investigations also include studies to determine sources of groundwater for groundwater seepage problems and dewatering investigations. We also provide analysis of aquifers for water sources for geothermal studies. Our staff has several decades of groundwater investigation within Alberta and has established relations with water well drillers, contractors and government regulators and planners. We have knowledge of the approval and licensing processes within Alberta.
