A large nail in my tire left me stranded on Currie Road. I called WILLSON Towing, on a chance. They were closest to where we sat stranded with a flat.This was a positive experience in every way. Sean was so helpful and kind - understanding our dilemma. Both the main office and Sean the driver who came to our aid went above and beyond to get us towed to a place nearby where we could get assistance. I brought in a tour group of 33 people and the manager Jodi and her staff were waiting for us when we arrived. They provided great service and the food was very good. The group all voted they would go back again! Thank you so much! Our travel date was on 9/24/11 and arrived around 6:15pm for dinner. It was also nice being a family restaurant you could order wine, beer etc. One of the ladies in our group was having a birthday and the staff provided a slice of choc. cake and sang Happy B-day!

I recall eating at a Montana’s Grill a few months ago and enjoying an Aunt Emma’s meatloaf. This past Saturday my wife and I had a yearning to try it again, so we went to a relatively new Montana’s in Hyde Park and discovered that it was now listed on the menu as a “Cookhouse Meatloaf” and promoted as being one of the restaurant’s “favourites”. I can see why. Quite frankly, this was by far the best meatloaf I have ever tasted in my life, and at 73 that’s saying quite a lot. Sure you can eat meatloaf at a number of places but I bet you can’t beat having a more delicious one at Montana’s in Hyde Park.

Our farming adventure began in 2017 when we found ourselves with a 2-day old baby goat that was blind in one eye, could barely stand, and would not eat. Over the next few weeks, we nursed him back to health, but since we were living in town at the time, it was not a long-term solution. With Jon growing up on farm, it was our dream to purchase a farm property anyway, so this just meant speeding the process up a little so the farm search began!

Ingersoll Paper Box began in 1922 as Ingersoll Cone and Paper Box and has remained in our family for over four generations and more than ninety years. Until the early 1930's, we made ice cream cones along with the paper boxes. People have told us that during the depression our company handed out the broken cones to the people within the community, it was a real treat when money, food and jobs were scarce.As much as business has changed, the demands in 1922 compared to those in the 21st century would all be relative to the time. Back then a rush order was a rush order just as it is today and being 1st to market was no less important than it is now.
