The symposium is very inclusive. Many of the attendees will be engineering and science graduate students, but it's open across campus and appeals to a number of different fields. The more people who join from different academic and professional backgrounds the better, from physicists to materials scientists to political and environmental science students interested in energy policy.
The GRAND VALLEY PUBLIC LIBRARY is the FOUNDATION of the COMMUNITY, providing SOCIAL, CULTURAL and EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES. The Grand Valley Public Library actively provides a spectrum of resources as well as links between our community's information and recreational needs. Currently, the library provides community access to diverse collections, internet computers, children's programs as well as a meeting space.
We had an outstanding group tour. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and entertaining, giving insight into the many artifacts and workings of this 19th century home, and a history lesson on John and Jemimah Howard's life in Toronto. Read more
